Levitra is an effective drug prescribed for erectile dysfunction. The drug is considered to be more effective than any other ED medicine.
As like other ED drugs, Levitra also relaxes the muscles in the penis, which means an increased flow of blood. An increased blood flow means perfect and long lasting erection.
You can take the drug in empty stomach or with meals. Normally Levitra can be taken 60 minutes ahead of sexual activity. Only one pill of Levitra is prescribed a day but for some persons the prescription is restricted to once in three days.
Before levitra is used, better inform your doctor if you have low or high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, heart problems, blood cell related complications and bleeding issues. You doctor may not prescribe Levitra if you have any of the above complications or he may go for a low dosage.
The drug is only for men and not to be used by women. People who are above 65 years should have to take the drug with caution.
While using Levitra, avoid excessive alcohol as it can lead to headache, dizziness and drop in the blood pressure. If you come across dizziness, vomiting, angina and nausea during sexual activity or after that while taking Levitra, consult your doctor immediately. If your erection lasts for more than four hours, seek immediate medical attention. Prolonged erection can cause damage to the penis.
You should also be careful with other medications while taking levitra as certain medicines interact with it.
